Join us for a unique stargazing experience on the water! Paddle through the calm waters of Long Pine Reservoir while learning about the night sky. All equipment provided. Ages 12 and up. Pre-registration required.

Astronomy by Kayak Caledonia State Park, Long Pine Reservoir, 675 Milesburn Road, Fayetteville, PA 17222101 Pine Grove Road, Fayetteville, PA 17222-8224Take a moment to look at the stars - while sitting in a kayak. All equipment (kayaks, paddles, vests) will be provided, but please dress appropriately for the weather. No experience is required. If you can sit in a chair, then you can handle a kayak on a calm lake.This program is for ages 12 and over. Although sponsored by Caledonia State Park, we will meet directly at the boat launch of Long Pine Reservoir, 675 Milesburg Road. If there will be thunderstorms, the program will be cancelled.Participation is free, but pre-registration is required. There are a total of ten pirogues available. Participants must sign a safety waiver, and wear a life vest during the entire event. Water shoes and insect spray are recommended. Please bring a headlamp or flashlight.We…
